The manager will have the opportunity to work “hands-on” on a variety of projects that will directly improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of a vibrant cosmetics manufacturing plant. Must have:· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field· 5+ years of proven experience as Production Manager / Supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with responsibility for 100 or more employees· Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and set performance expectations· Able to lead and motivate teams to high performance in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment· Demonstrated ability to define problems, implement appropriate solutions, and monitor results· Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business reports, company policy manuals, technical procedures, and business correspondences· Effective inter-personal skills, including verbal and written communication skills along with a strong sense of urgency· Prior experience with FDA, OSHA, Quality and c-GMP preferred· Continuous improvement experience preferred (i.e. Lean, TPM or Six Sigma)
